The Student Advisory Board fosters and celebrates the success of student members and advocates for student concerns in the SBL. Serving as a volunteer on the SAB provides an excellent opportunity for graduate students to develop professionally and establish connections with the wider academic community. SAB members are active and diligent student leaders, passionate about graduate student concerns, and professional in their communications. Applications will be broadly considered according to the Society’s nominating procedures. We strongly encourage underrepresented persons (e.g., women, racial, and ethnic minorities) to apply.
Requirements: Applicants must be in a graduate program, with preference given to PhD students. If chosen, the applicant agrees to attend all annual meetings and serve in their position for a full term (2 years with possibility of 1 additional year).
